Bolu Center represents the point that can be described as the heart of the city. There are many places you can visit and explore in the center. Regarding transportation to the region, you can either buy a bus ticket, a plane ticket, or travel by your own vehicle. Bolu Center offers holidaymakers many natural parks where you can spend time intertwined with nature on the one hand, and various historical points where you can learn about the region's history on the other. One of the first touristic places that come to mind when Bolu is mentioned is Yedigöller National Park. However, since this park is far from the city center, we will not include this point in our list. If you have the opportunity, you can also visit this natural wonder composed of seven lakes, as its name suggests.
There are multiple options for transportation to Bolu Center. One of these transportation networks is coming by your own vehicle. Another road option is intercity buses. The end point of your journey by bus is the Bolu Bus Terminal, which is located only five kilometers away from the center. You can research the companies that operate bus services from your location to this terminal and choose the one that best fits your budget to complete your bus ticket purchase process. After arriving at the terminal, you can use public transportation to reach the city center. Another alternative for reaching the center is air travel. However, since there is no airport in Bolu Center, the closest arrival point is Kocaeli Cengiz Topel Airport. For this, you first need to purchase a plane ticket.
After landing at the airport, you can take buses to first reach the bus terminal and then take public transportation to get to the center. Since there are multiple transfers during air travel, it is not possible for us to provide information about how long your journey will take. This air travel option is especially suitable for holidaymakers planning to come from very distant points. When you arrive at Bolu Center, there are many touristic places you can explore. Among the noteworthy points in the region are Göksu Nature Park, Beşpınarlar Nature Park, Atatürk Forest Park, Karacasu Thermal Springs, Bolu Museum, Mehmet Yücetürk Painter Art Center, Bolu Center Mosques, and the Historical Bolu Government Mansion. Göksu Nature Park
At the top of our list of places to visit in Bolu Center is Göksu Nature Park, which attracts attention with its natural beauties.
This nature park, which impresses visitors with its untouched nature, is located in the city center. Since 2011, the park has been serving as a nature park and offers various activity options. You can camp by setting up a tent against the magnificent lake view, observe the surrounding animals during your stay, go for nature walks, have a picnic, or try various sports activities on the sports tracks. Here, you can also capture many eye-catching photo frames themed around the scenery. Surrounded by greenery, you can spend beautiful times here with your family or friends.
Beşpınarlar Nature Park
Another nature park you can explore by buying a plane ticket to Bolu Center is Beşpınarlar Nature Park, located in the Aladağlar section connected to the center.
Covering an area of approximately three hundred acres, this nature park contains various spots offering opportunities to be alone with nature. Like the previous nature park, you can set up tents and camp here. This park, which gained the status of a nature park in 2011, is also highly recommended to add to your travel list.
Atatürk Forest Park
One of the places where you can both have fun and relax is Atatürk Forest Park, located in Bolu Center.
This is especially one of the frequently preferred spots by families with children. Because there are children's playgrounds here that allow children to have fun. While your children laugh and play in the parks, you can sit in the resting areas and observe the surroundings. There is also a walking trail approximately 1 kilometer long where you can walk.
Karacasu Thermal Springs

These thermal springs, which host millions of tourists throughout the year, have a water temperature of around 44 degrees Celsius. Bolu Center Mosques
There are multiple mosques you can visit in Bolu Center. The first of these mosques is Saraçhane Mosque, located in the center, which is built in a rectangular form using cut stone and rubble stone in its construction.
Another mosque is Yıldırım Bayezid Mosque, located in the Büyükcami Neighborhood connected to the center, along with Kadı Mosque. Besides these mosques, there are many others you can visit such as Keçeci Mehmet Mosque, Aktaş Mosque, Karamanlı Mosque, Ilıca Musa Mosque, and Karaköy Friday Mosque.
Historical Bolu Government Mansion
Another cultural spot you can visit by buying a bus ticket to Bolu Center is the Historical Bolu Government Mansion.
Accepted as a symbol of Bolu, this mansion initially consisted of three floors when it was first built. Later, it was damaged due to various adverse events and has come down to two floors today. Open for visits since 2006, we also strongly recommend that you visit this government mansion.
